A Business Intelligence Data Modeller is needed for a role within the IT Data Warehouse Team of a large company based in Perth.

BI - Data Modeller circa $90K

High communications skills are a must for this role since you will be working with business users and project teams throughout the data gathering phase. You will assist teams with the solution build and system testing and provide quality assurance and user acceptance support during testing and implementation.

To be successful for this role, you will be required to possess:

Essential skills

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Modelling techniques
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, Data Modelling and Data Mart processes including:

Dimensional concepts and Entity relationship modelling

- Primary, foreign and surrogate keys, Drilling down, Large dimensions, Slowly changing dimensions, Mini-dimensions
- Relevance of architecture and planning, Principles of data architecture and Data quality and improvement
- Incremental Data Warehouse development methodologies covering the whole of the Software Development Lifecycle
- High Communications skills
