Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a key role within this manufacturing business. This hands-on role will be supported by one Accounts Assistant and duties will include the production of financial and management reports on a monthly and annual basis. You will also produce and monitor budgets, business targets, performance indicators and analyse variances. Overseeing the payroll process as well as managing cash flow and forecasts are also essential elements of your role.

To be successful, you will possess relevant qualifications and have a thorough knowledge of current accounting practices. A sound knowledge of taxation requirements and experience within a similar role will be critical to your success.

Your excellent attention detail will ensure the management of stock control and account reconciliations are performed with accuracy. Exposure to job costing is also important. Well-developed communication skills will enable you to deal effectively with a range of personnel.
